A bivvy bag made from olive green hydrophilic material, made from two simple panels to minimise seams and weight. Each has an elastic drawcord at the top and loops to enable you to adapt the entrance into an open ended bivvy shelter.
Just like the bashas these are extremely lightweight and fold up very small.

c) Frosts Drawknife
A lightweight two handled drawknife made by Frosts of Mora. Drawknives are generally used for cutting towards you, they are a good knife for stripping bark and making the preliminary shapes prior to turning wood on a pole lathe. Our drawknives are also a great aid in larger carving projects.

A Frosts of Mora carbon steel knife. Purposely designed for carving internal curves, such as spoons and bowls.
This pocketable little saw has more bite than its size would have you believe. It has a very aggressively toothed blade of 120mm made from high carbon tool steel and a handle of natural beech wood. The locking mechanism is Opinel’s famous twist lock. Each saw now comes with a hole for a lanyard. These saws can cope with tasks well above what you’d expect from them. I regularly use mine to cut green wood up to 100mm in diameter.

Mon Premier Opinel Knife (new April 2008)
If your children are going to learn about knife safety and cutting edge awareness then we believe that these knives should be a step in that learning process. They are made by Opinel in France. Each knife has a solid beech wood handle, Opinel’s own safe twisting collar locking mechanism and the blade tip is rounded for safety. The lock has to be applied manually to lock the blade either open or closed therefore promoting awareness of the knife.

Snowpeak Titanium Trek 700 Mug
Ultra lightweight but strong titanium construction make this a perfect cup if that's all you carry. With a capacity of 0.7 litres it will serve as a cup, bowl, cook-pot or even a baler for your canoe.

Snowpeak Titanium Solo Cookset
We've been using these sets for quite a while now and they've generated a lot of interest amongst our clients. Following our policy of selling only what we use, we are now in a position to make them available to you, and we can certainly recommend them. Being made from lightweight but strong titanium they don't greatly add to the weight of your pack yet they are large enough to prepare good size solo meals.

M88 Prismatic Compass
If you are as fanatical about correct navigation as we are, you’ll find this is one of the only compasses to give absolute accuracy. Developed from a long line of military artillery sighting compasses, this is the current issue British military marching and sighting compass issued to snipers and surveillance teams. Now made in lightweight alloy but still giving years of dependable service (these compasses are often handed down through military families). This model is sold with a degrees scale for civilian map use but we can supply them in mils to order.

Swedish Coffee Bags
Not only used for coffee, these are made in Lapland from alder bark tanned reindeer hide. They are perfect for stowing all of those smaller bits of kit without resorting to nylon stuff sacks. The larger of the two has extra reinforcing around the base to make it hard wearing.
